I started with eshowings on their very first day of operations. I terminated their services on January 9, 2006. The old saying, 'the grass is greener on the other side" is not always true, as I found out. I switched to their competitor; primarily due to a misperception we had concerning the service at eshowings. I'm happy to say that we went back to eshowings in July 2006. The opportunity of utilizing both firms provided us with a true baseline from which to gauge services.

We (us and eshowings) found that the primary breakdown occurred due to a lack of understanding of the features of eshowings and how to use them. Since then, eshowings has renewed their efforts to continually educate my agents and staff through a variety of means: from conducting on-site training office by office, to facilitation by their Member Services division, and finally their ability to customize their programs to be all about Keller Williams and our business model. We have found that eshowings simply offers a more professional, efficient service than that of their competitor.

Jack and I think that the e-showings is a very professional way to handle the appointments. Agents can make the appointments on-line or use the telephone. It is fast and efficient and the hours are great. It gives agents much better flexibility in making appointments due to extended hours. The weekends are especially important as we always found some difficulties with agents having emergencies and not showing up and therefore appointments could not be made, which makes us look really unprofessional if a seller calls.

One of the greatest attributes of the system is the automatic feedback that we can then e-mail to our clients. That is absolutely priceless as it gives the seller the opportunity to read the feedback for themselves and we do not have to give them the negative or positive feedback. Negative feedback is always difficult for a listing agent to give to their client as they tend to get defensive. It is much better coming from a third party.

The fact that when there is a price reduction and all the agents that have shown the property are instantly advised is also a wonderful benefit to the system.

Along with making opportunity time more productive, the procedures set into the E Showings appointment process helps make it safer. Every appointment is checked against the Realtor roster to assure that showing instructions are only distributed to registered Realtors. This is a very valuable feature by itself.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been over two years since we starting using your services at eshowings. Although the year isn’t quite over yet, you have scheduled over 18,000 co-broke appointments for us this year alone.

That’s over 18,000 appointments that our Office Administrators did not need to handle or schedule, freeing them up to assist agents and managers with our many other services and tools.
